Luana Luconi Winner
Luana Luconi Winner is an active portrait artist and founding member of the Portrait Society of America. She was schooled in Rome and Florence, Italy, Switzerland, and the USA. Her portraits, paintings, and murals hang in corporate headquarters, historic sites, universities, and residences both here and abroad. Luana’s portraits have received national recognition and awards, in addition to her Silver Medal in an international pastel competition for the portrait “Elizabeth.” Her new portrait, “Japanese Robe,” received an international “Best in Show” award in the summer of 2008. She is a national workshop instructor and faculty member of the Portrait Society of America International Conference, the International Association of Pastel Societies, and six other organizations teaching across the USA. Author of a series of instructional workbooks and DVD’s, Luana has just finished filming six additional DVD’s about portraiture and the figure and continues writing for International Artist Magazine , The Artist Magazine, Signature, Folio, and Art of the Portrait magazines.
