Corse Gallery & Atelier has been selected to host one of the most prestigious shows in North America, Oil Painters of America’s Eastern Regional Exhibition and Sale, which will take place this November and December. Collectors will travel to Jacksonville from all around the United States to have a chance to purchase one of these paintings. The juried exhibition will feature works by the best representational artists east of the Mississippi, from Canada all the way to Florida. Oil Painters of America is a decade-old organization of oil painters who specialize in representational painting, setting the standard for outstanding original artwork.
In addition to the 100 or so juried pieces, eleven Oil Painters of America Master Signature Members’ works will be on exhibit during the show, including masterworks by CW Mundy, Kevin Macpherson, and David Hettinger. CW Mundy is Juror of Awards and will be here in Jacksonville to present the awards and perform a painting demonstration. Space is limited, so please call the gallery to reserve a spot for the demonstration, which will take place Saturday morning, November 21st at the gallery.
Previews are November 18 & 19. Opening is November 20th 6-9pm. The exhibition can be viewed online at the gallery’s website: www.CorseGalleryAtelier.com.
