Steve Forster
Emerging on the art scene with boldness and brilliance, Forster’s cityscapes and landscapes evoke a sense of place. His figure paintings are powerful and moving. When you observe one of Forster’s paintings, you are immediately drawn in by the light. He has developed an aesthetic for dark environments and how a strong bit of light can illuminate all the subtle possibilities, from light to dark. Forster’s education includes two years of study at The Florence Academy of Art in Italy and is headed this Fall to attend The New York Academy of Art for two years.
He is a creative force to watch.
